Memorial Stadium & Tailgating Rules and Regulations

Stadium Rules

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following behavior is prohibited:

Profanity, offensive language, or offensive clothing.
Smoking or vaping. Memorial Stadium is a non-smoking facility.
Intoxication or excessive alcohol consumption.
Fighting, threatening, or disorderly behavior.
Throwing objects or liquids.
Entering the playing field or court.
Possession of prohibited items.
Violation of any federal, state, or local law.
Any behavior that disrupts the safety or enjoyment of other guests.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted inside Memorial Stadium:

Animals, except approved service animals.
Boxes or wrapped packages.
Cans, glass bottles, or alcoholic beverages.
Drones.
Glass, metal, or hard-plastic containers.
Laser pointers.
Skates, skateboards, hoverboards, scooters, or bicycles.
Weapons, projectiles, or other dangerous items.

All bags and items are subject to inspection.

Tailgating Rules

Tailgating is part of the game-day experience. We ask all guests to help maintain a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment.

Parking

The Memorial Stadium parking lot opens 3 hours before game time.
Parking is first come, first served for non-season parking holders.
Saving or reserving parking spaces is not permitted.
There are no in-and-out privileges for vehicles.
Overnight parking is prohibited.
The parking lot closes 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
Class A Motor homes, box trucks, trailers, vehicles towing grills, and outside catering services are not permitted.
Roadways, aisles, and parking areas must remain clear for traffic and emergency vehicles.

Tailgate Areas

All Vehicles must fit into a 8.5x18 ft. individual space.
NO Class A Motorhomes allowed

Tailgating is permitted only in front of or behind your vehicle.
Tailgating may not interfere with traffic or neighboring vehicles.
Tents may not exceed 10' x 10' and must be placed directly in front of or behind your vehicle.
Barbecue grills must be raised off the ground.
Charcoal grills are permitted. Dispose of charcoal properly after use.
Glass containers are prohibited. Use plastic or disposable cups.
Keep your tailgate area clean. Place trash in bags and properly dispose of all waste.
Do not leave loose trash or litter in the parking lot.

Alcohol & Conduct

Public intoxication and alcohol-impaired behavior are prohibited.
Underage drinking and the use of controlled substances are prohibited by law.
Drinking games and games involving alcohol consumption are prohibited.
Alcohol-related paraphernalia is prohibited.
Fighting, threats, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
Excessively loud amplified music, DJs, or live entertainment are prohibited.
Music containing inappropriate or offensive language is prohibited.
Please respect other guests, vehicles, campus property, and stadium facilities.

Large or Organized Tailgates

Tailgate areas are intended for individual or small-group tailgating.

Large or organized parties require advance approval from the Whittier College Athletic Department and may only be held in designated areas. The following examples MUST BE APPROVED by the Athletic Administration.:
